We are looking to buy our first home and he is active duty. We are trying to go the route of doing a va loan, but seem to be coming up short in the credit score dept. Does anyone know of any lenders who will work with you on this?
Typically builders will have their own mortgage companies as will realtors. They will help get you into a home even with 'ok' credit.
To clarify a point here?
The VA "Does Not" make home loans?
They just Guarantee the Loan up to the
max stated on your "VA Certificate"?
Your Credit can't be that good if your
Scores are that low ???
Right now, your gonna have a very hard time, getting a mortgage with not so great credit.
That's what lead to the mortgage crisis.
