?I love seeing teachers outside of school. It?s like watching a dog walk on its hind legs.? Ah yes, the infamous quote from Mean Girls. Although this is a funny analogy, it?s also the truth. Check out this list of teachers? plans for the summer so stalk all you want!

Mrs. Benson, sophomore English teacher
In addition to a family trip to the Boundary Waters involving cliff jumping and paddling, this unique gal is planning on taking either an aerial arts (ideally trapeze) or a burling (log-rolling) class. Talk about a trendsetter!

Mr. Krause, biology teacher
I?m sure you can find this suave guy at the beach practicing for his volleyball competitions. Next weekend he?s playing in the USAV Open Volleyball Championships with his friends from California and Minnesota. Winning first place two years ago, and second last year, he?s bound to succeed!

Mr. Buckley, American Literature, Creative Writing, and Public Speaking teacher
Mr. Buckley along with his father as well as his two sons, Nathan (7) and Ben (5), are going on their 4th annual ?Boys Baseball Trip?. Find them in Kansas City cheering on the Twins this summer! ?Accidentally? run into him at the game!

Mrs. Russell, Advanced Algebra teacher
This lady is on fire! Hopefully not literally though because this summer she will be responding to more day-calls as she?s a volunteer firefighter in Eden Prairie. She is newly the department?s Quartermaster, so she gets to learn how to catalog all the gear and uniforms in their inventory. What are you waiting for? Start a fire, catch her attention!

Mr. Kurtz, English, American Literature, and Blended Mass Media teacher
Aloha! ?Find the Kurtz-master catching waves in Hawaii. Or, of course find him at Barnes & Noble. I mean he is an English teacher. He?ll also be spending time kayaking on Lake Superior, so make sure you plan your snorkeling trip there according to his, so you can sneak a peek at his glorious kayak. He?ll also be taking classes from Doc Loc himself!

Ms. Kampf, U.S. History teacher
Ms. Kampf can be spotted in the dark theaters of Chicago as she sees a musical or the fabulous NPR show, ?Wait, Wait, Don?t Tell Me?, to celebrate her 40th birthday! Be sure to mention this to the award-winning chef when you follow her into her favorite restaurant, Topolabamba. She?ll be sure to have a good celebration with the help of you and the chef! Ms. Kampf will also be training for a triathlon for type 1 diabetics at Franklin and Marshall College. And she will also be doing what seems to be a very common teacher pass time; kayaking! Ms. Kampf will be kayaking with her friend when she visits from Oakland to swim in the Aquatennial race.
